Dr. Abdulrahman bin Soliman Al-Tariqi received a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from King Saud University in 1986 and a Master’s degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan, USA in 1995. He served as an Assistant Professor from late 1988 until 1995. He received his PhD from the University of Missouri in 1997 and worked as an academic advisor with that degree.
Dr. Abdulrahman worked as an Assistant Professor at the Technical College from 1986 until 1988 and worked as a visiting professor at Al Majmaah University in 2014.
He occupied several positions in the private sector, including the position of a General Manager of Human Resources and Support Services, and then Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. He was also the Chairman of the Gulf Company for Industrial Development Company from 2010 to 2015. Additionally, he is a member of the boards of several companies. Currently, he is the Advisor to the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture.
